The Urban Planning General Plan (PUG) of Florești is being updated.
That commune which is already part of Cluj and where we practically live while living in Cluj.
An appropriate evaluation has been made for this updated PUG of Florești, which expands the built-up area by about 6000 ha !!!... up to the edge of the forests (read as attached to) Făget and Hoia, over Valea Gârbăului for example, entirely, from hill to hill.
And from the Urban Planning Certificate and the Environmental Agreement, we found out that the 'authorities' don't care about anything green, they don't care about the impact on forests, meadows, streams included in urban areas.
They don't care about Hoia, about the fluffy oak reservation.
They don't care about the still unprotected forest in the north of Floresti.
They don't care about the protected habitats of Faget in the south of Floresti, on Valea Garbaului, those left outside the protection limits of ROSCI Fagetul Clujului - Valea Morii. For which we requested the designation of the Faget Sud - Colonia Faget area.
They 'decided' with a stroke of a pen that there is no significant impact from expanding with thousands of hectares of concrete over these green areas now.
Everything is fine, the impact can only come from climate change, not from urbanism with concrete without sewage, and anyway, climate change is not happening around here.
